Join me as we journey into the incredible work of Dr. Philip Currie and Dr. Eva Koppelhus from the University of Alberta, who have led a remarkable team in excavating a unique Hadrosaur specimen in Dinosaur Provincial Park. This exciting find includes a complete spine and an intact tail, shedding more light on our understanding of these fascinating creatures. I am fortunate to be able to showcase Philip's dedicated PhD and Master students, who are gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the field as they train to become expert Paleobiologists. It's a privilege to document this groundbreaking research in the stunning badlands of Alberta.
Our team of maritime archaeologists was dedicated to uncovering the secrets of a pre-revolutionary war shipwreck in Harts Cove, New Hampshire. Despite challenging conditions with low visibility and strong currents, we successfully recovered several timber specimens for dendrochronology, which will aid in determining the vessel's age and origin. This expedition was made possible through our valuable partnerships with the Historical Society of Portsmouth in NH, and the Institute of Maritime History. Join us as we delve into the rich history beneath the waves!
Getting to remote places often requires local assistance. My time in the Amazon in search of something required using motorized canoes to navigate the waterways. These men who are a critical part of the local commerce enjoyed being photographed and often waved me over to have their photo taken. This interaction during my travels is one of the most cherished parts of being a photographer.
