
ABOUT GREGORY WILLIAMS


Award-winning photographer living in Washington, DC. I have had the privilege of showcasing my work at the Smithsonian Institution. I've been published by Pentax/Ricoh Imaging and the prestigious Explorers Club. My work has also been featured in several digital magazines and travel websites.
Certified as a field technician in historic & conflict archaeology, and maritime/blackwater archaeology. Trained in mountaineering and Scuba diving - with certifications in outdoor guiding, wilderness first responder, alpine climbing, and scientific diving. I hold a BA with honors in History (Phi Alpha Theta), a master's degree, and studied documentary photography at Cornell University.
Available to work as a photographer, storyteller or field technician on professional expeditions. I can also be hired as an independent photojournalist.
